Spencer, Iowa — “The hills are alive with the sound of music” at Arts on Grand this June.

Coffee Beanz Theatre Group, in collaboration with Arts on Grand, are excited to announce a weekend of Broadway classics in Ten Minutes Ago: A Rodgers & Hammerstein Cabaret, starring Spencer High School alumni Natalie Kroll & Rhyan Busch. The cabaret will also feature Chandler Todd, Kyle Goeken, and Makenna Pierce.

Ten Minutes Ago: A Rodgers & Hammerstein Cabaret runs Friday, June 3^rd through Sunday, June 5^th at Arts on Grand in Spencer, Iowa, featuring music from The Sound of Music, South Pacific, The King and I, Oklahoma!, and many others.

“I am so excited to be back in Spencer and sharing some Broadway classics with the community” says Natalie Kroll. “Rodgers and Hammerstein were one of the most memorable and influential writing teams in American Musical Theatre, so it’s an honor to perform in a cabaret celebrating their work!”

Natalie Kroll and Rhyan Busch will lead the show. Chandler Todd will accompany them, as well as joining in for a song or two. The show is directed and produced by Kyle Goeken, who joins Kroll and Busch for a couple songs as well. To round out the group is Makenna Pierce, recent SHS graduate, singing some classics that you are sure to love!

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the box office or online at coffeebeanztheatre.wixsite.com/home (starting on Tuesday, May 24th at 12:00 PM). A free will donation will be available when purchasing tickets and at the show to support future projects. Ten Minutes Ago: A Rodgers & Hammerstein Cabaret will be at Arts on Grand on June 3rd & 4that 7:30 pm and June 5 at 2:30 pm,and will run approximately 90 minutes with a 10-minute intermission. The box office will be open 30 minutes before every show and drinks will be served by free will donation.
