The Spirit Lake Park Girls Track team placed second behind Algona, yesterday, at the Sheryl Maahs Relays.
Estherville-Lincoln Central was third. Emmetsburg took fourth.
Spirit Lake Park’s Jenna McCoy took first in both the high jump and the long jump. Her long jump was 15-feet 9 ¼ inches.
She high jumped 4’10. McCoy also took first in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.24.
The Indians’ Taylor Sieperda registered first place finishes in both the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash.
Her time in the 200 was 27.10, and she finished the 400 in 62.54 seconds. She, along with Dondi Schmidt,
Emma Dau, and Mikey Heikens took first in the 4×800 meter relay with a time of 10:04.15.
Kendra Stokke finished first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 72.32 seconds.
