The Spirit Lake High School softball team lost two games, Saturday, as the Indians fell, 4-2, to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley. They were also beaten by George-Little Rock/Central Lyon, 12-5 in a tournament at Sheldon.
Spirit Lake will look to bounce back, tonight, at home against Spencer. The Tigers were beaten by Estherville-Lincoln Central, 20-1, on Saturday.

The Okoboji Softball team fell to Colo-Nesco, 9-3, Saturday, and were blanked 12-0, by Woodbury, in a tournament at Huxley. The Pioneers are on the road, tonight, against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley.
The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn softball team suffered a pair of losses, in the tournament at Sheldon, on Saturday. The Hawks fell to Sioux Center, 4-3, and were shut out, 9-0, by Ridgeview. The Hawks are home, tonight, against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn.
The Harris-Lake Park Softball team competed in a tournament, Saturday, at Newell-Fonda High School. They were beaten, 10-1, by Newell-Fonda. The Wolves also lost to Maple Valley-Anthon Oto, 13-5. This evening, HLP is on the road for a double-header against Clay Central-Everly.
