Spirit Lake Baseball Tops Okoboji, 9-5

The Spirit Lake Baseball team jumped out to a 4-0 first inning lead over Okoboji, last night in Spirit Lake, and the Pioneers would never fully catch up as the Indians went on to win, 9-5.  Here’s Okoboji Coach Rory Marra.

The Indians improve to 7-1 and are off until Monday, when they pay a visit to Storm Lake.  Okoboji is now 3-4, and has a pair of games tomorrow.

The Harris-Lake Park Baseball team blanked St. Mary’s, 2-0.  The Wolves face Central Lyon Saturday.

Algona topped Estherville Lincoln Central, 8-4.

Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire beat Manson Northwest Webster, 11-7.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn downed Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids, 6-5, in 9 innings.

North Union beat Spencer, 1-0, and Emmetsburg outslugged Pocahontas Area, 14-13.
