The Okoboji Softball team fell to West Bend-Mallard, 8-7, Saturday,
in a rain soaked Spirit Lake Invitational.
The Pioneers are on the road, today, against Sibley-Ocheydan.
Also, Saturday at the Spirit Lake Invite, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire
beat Whiting, 11-7 and Kingsley-Pierson knocked off Sibley-Ocheydan, 17-4.
Elsewhere, North Union beat
Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, 12-0, and also edged Van Meter, 5-4.
Emmetsburg downed Manson-Northwest Webster, 10-3.

Ballard. The HLP Baseball team is coming
off of a 2-0 win over Storm
Lake, last Thursday. The Wolves softball team beat
Sibley-Ocheydan, 7-2. The baseball team
goes into today’s game with a record of 2-4; the softball team is 4-6.
The Spirit Lake softball team is on the road, today, against Storm Lake. As is the Spirit Lake Baseball team. The Indians rebounded from their first loss
of the season; that was against LeMars last Wednesday, with a win over Okoboji
