The Emmetsburg Softball team registered its first shut out
of the season, last night, as the E-Hawks blanked Laurens-Marathon, 2-0.
Ashton Connelly was the winning pitcher as she struck out
ten batters, and gave up five hits with no walks.
Emmetsburg is now 8-15 and is on the road, tonight, against Cherokee.
The Emmetsburg Baseball team improved its overall record to
8-8 with a 5-1 win over Manson-Northwest Webster, last night.
The E-Hawks will look to get back over .500, tonight, as
they travel to Cherokee.
