Coach Molly Struve has officially resigned from her position as Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach at Iowa Lakes Community College, one that she held since 2007.
Struve will stay in the Iowa Lakes family as she has accepted a position in the success center on the Estherville campus. While at the helm of the Lakers, Coach Struve had numerous runners advance to the national meet and become Academic All-Americans.
When asked about the news, Athletic Director Troy Larson commented, “Molly did a good job over the last six years as our head men’s and women’s cross country coach. She cared deeply about her student athletes and had a positive impact on their lives. We wish her well at her new position at Iowa Lakes.”
The national search for Struve’s successor is already underway.
