Okoboji hosted Boyden Hull Friday night in girls and boys games. For the girls, the Pioneers will head into the break at 7-1, after picking up a 52-40 win over the Comets. The Okoboji boys are still looking for that first win of the season, falling Friday night to Boyden Hull 91-77. The Pioneers found themselves down early, 29-14 after 1 quarter. However, they outscored the comets the rest of the way by 1. Jake Dodge led 4 Pioneers in double figures with 22. Alex Heller added 20. Holt Hunziker 18, and Tyeson Barnett 14. The Pioneers are now off until January 3rd when they travel to MOC Floyd Valley.
