(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has two new thermal imaging drones thanks to support and funding from the Estherville Chamber of Commerce and the Emmet County Community Foundation.
Officials say the drones will play a critical role, especially when it comes to search and rescue operations, missing persons, emergency response, disaster operations, fires, traffic crashes, crime-scene documentation and officer safety.
They add the drones will also be available to other local emergency responders and public-safety partners.
