(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual dinner and awards ceremony. Executive Director Blain Andera says it will be held Monday, November 2nd at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park with a social hour at 5:00 pm and dinner around 6:15 pm. He says tickets are now available…
“Several of our members have free tickets based on their membership level. If you’re a chamber member and you don’t know if you get free tickets, again reach out to us and we’ll help you out with that. This is our annual business gala. We’re super excited. Okoboji Tourism Committee, the Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. It’s just an opportunity for us to get together with our investors, our members, our supporters, and thank them for everything they do to help make our area great and support the chamber.”
Andera says there will also be some special recognitions given out that evening…
“We have that Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Member of the Year, and Social Media Super Star are the four awards we give and these businesses have to be a member of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber to be able to be nominated for that, so. We encourage people to go over to okobjichamber.com and click on the members tab and you can see which businesses are members and qualify for being nominated for this.”
The deadline to submit nominations is Sunday, October 11th.
