(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College is reporting a 4.4 percent growth in enrollment this fall compared to a year ago. College officials say the growth occurred across both transfer and career and technical programs with transfer majors increasing 13 percent from a year ago and 50 percent over the last two years.
ILCC officials say several career and technical programs also experienced growth, including cosmetology which was up 46 percent, HVAC, up 23 percent and construction technology, up 18 percent.
They add the current headcount is 2.9 percent above the three-year average and 3.3 percent above the five-year average.
Secondary enrollment at Iowa Lakes was up 15.2 percent compared to the fall of 2025.
