The eighth-ranked Jackson County Central volleyball team swept St. James Area on the road.
The Huskies took the sets by scores of 25-11, 25-15, and 25-21 over the Saints.
Paylin Sether led the JCC attack with 11 kills. She also had four aces on 10-of-11 serving and a pair of digs. Braelyn Boogerd went a perfect 17-of-17 serving with five aces. She added eight digs and four set assists. Zoey Hall had a team-high 20 set assists to go with five digs, three kills, and one ace on 9-of-10 serving. Paige Benda had a team-high three blocks and five kills.
Brielle Tufvesson had a perfect 11-of-11 night serving with one ace and added 10 digs, six kills, two blocks, and two set assists. Mady Wachal finished 7-of-9 serving with four aces to go with four kills and a pair of blocks and set assists. Lincoln Gorden had six kills, three blocks, one dig, and one set assist. Kinley VanDeVere converted 3-of-4 serves to go with six set assists and a pair of digs.
