The Jackson County Central volleyball team remains ranked eighth in the latest Class AA poll from the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Huskies are 1-1 overall with a loss to state-ranked Sioux Falls Christian from South Dakota and a sweep of Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda.
Hawley is the top-ranked team with 13 first-place votes. New Life Academy is ranked second. Southwest Christian, Minnewaska, and New London-Spicer each got a first-place vote while rounding out the top five. Caledonia and Rush City are also above JCC with Sauk Centre and Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted behind the Huskies in the rest of the Top 10.
JCC hits the road to take on Redwood Valley on Tuesday.
The 1-1 Cardinals got swept by Minneota and beat St. James Area in four sets so far this season.
First serve is expected at 7:15 p.m. in Redwood Falls.
