Botello-Ramos, Ayers lead Huskies at Early Bird

David Botello-Ramos and Naiya Ayers led the Jackson County Central cross country effort at the Early Bird Invite in Fairmont on Friday.
Botello-Ramos posted a time of 13:48.7 to lead the boys to seventh place. Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey took home the boys team win.
Grant Ambrose had 16:48.8 in 26th place, Kayden Mitchell had 16:55.7 in 28th place, Gavin Tusa had 17:55.3 in 46th place, Nolan Brinks had 18:18.3 in 54th place, and Eric Bouten had 20:48.5 in 75th place for the Huskies among 84 high school runners.
Ayers finished 12th place with a time of 18:00.0 to lead the JCC girls to fifth place as a team. St. Peter captured the girls team win.
Stevie Untiedt had 19:28.4 in 25th place, Carly Clark had in 19:39.4 in 29th place, Danica Wood had 20:13.9 in 35th place, Riley Peterson 21:31.6 in 48th place, Abigail Mohr had 21:33.1 in 49th place, and Samantha Van Wyhe had 23:16.6 in 63rd place out of 78 runners.
