The Jackson County Central volleyball team begins the season with a state-ranked border battle against Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday.
JCC enters the season with the theme of looking to “Play With Fire” during the 2026 season.
The Huskies are ranked eighth in the preseason Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Class AA poll. JCC earned 20 wins and advanced to the section championship match last year against New London-Spicer. The Wildcats check in at #6 in this year’s preseason poll.
The Chargers are ranked second in the state of South Dakota after winning 27 matches and earning third place in Class A last year.
First serve is scheduled for 7:00 at JCC High School.
