(Estherville)– The city of Estherville is reminding residents it is illegal to operate certain wheeled devices in the city’s downtown area. City officials say that includes bikes, E-bikes, electric and kick scooters, skateboards, roller and inline skates, toy vehicles and other personal micromobility devices. Exemptions are in place for things such as wheelchairs, motorized mobility devices and walkers along with strollers and wagons and maintenance and construction equipment.
City officials say those on bicycles, E-bikes or scooters in the Estherville’s Central Business District will be required to use roadways or dismount and walk the devices on sidewalks.
