A funeral service for 73-year-old John “Bernie” Bjornstad of Okoboji will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 30th, at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Visitation with the family present will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 pm Wednesday, July 29th, at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
John passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Mn.
