Nature Explorers

OKOBOJI–The Dickinson County Nature Center is bringing back Nature Explorers by popular
demand! Children ages 5-12 can join staff every Wednesday from mid-June through mid-August
for an hour of engaging fun and outdoor discovery.
This year’s theme, “Nature Mysteries,” will challenge participants to investigate puzzling
questions about the natural world through outdoor activities and exploration.
The Nature Explorers series begins with ‘Who Left These Tracks?” on June 10 from 10:30-11:30
a.m. and will meet at the former Butterfly House, located just south of the Dickinson County
Nature Center parking lot. Adults are not required to stay for the program. Participation is free,

From searching for animal clues to uncovering hidden secrets in nature, each week will offer a
new adventure designed to spark curiosity and encourage kids to explore the outdoors with a
fresh perspective.
