After a very short battle with cancer, Angela (Jackson) Sidles, 61, of Terril, IA, passed away on May 19, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, May 28, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spirit Lake. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with a visitation to follow up until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. In honor of Angela’s wishes, the family requests that casual attire is worn to the service. Burial will take place at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery in Terril, IA. Angie was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Jim and Connie Jackson on January 19, 1965. In 1968 the family, including now, brother Jim Jr and Joey, moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. Angie graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1983 where she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, and track. She attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville and later graduated from Minnesota West in Jackson, MN.
Angie enjoyed coaching her two sons, Curtis and Riley, in little league baseball. After working at several jobs in the Lakes area Angie finally found her ideal job at Menards in Spencer, Iowa. Angie was a welcoming face in the plumbing department of Menards that always had candy for her co-workers and informative directions to the customers.
Angie was married to Scott Sidles on February 29, 2016, and resided in Terril, Iowa. Scott proceeded Angie in death July 23, 2022.
Angie is surveyed by her two sons, Curtis (Paige) Jackson of Walworth WI and Riley Jackson of Terril Iowa. Angie’s parents Jim and Connie Jackson of West Okoboji, her brother Jim Jr of Milford, Iowa, Joey (Shelly) Jackson of Spirit Lake, Iowa along with her two nephews Josh and Hunter Jackson and stepson Auston Sidles of Terril, Iowa and along with many other relatives.
