LARSON TIES FOR SIXTH PLACE IN CONFERENCE ACTION

Knox Larson led the Martin County West boys golf team and Clare Paulson led the girls in Tomahawk Valley Conference play on Monday.
Larson posted a score of 83 including a birdie and seven pars on 18 holes at Rose Lake Golf Club to tie for seventh place as the top MCW boy.
Carson Scheff scored 101 in a four-way tie for 37th place, Tanner Anderson scored 102 in 41st place, Haydn Lillevold shot 107 for 49th place, and Torrey Paplow shot 111 in a four-way tie for 52nd place.
The MCW boys took ninth place with a score of 393 and Sleepy Eye United had 319 as the top boys team.
Paulson posted a score of 114 on 18 holes at Fox Lake Golf Club in a tie for 33rd place as the top MCW girl.
Clare Striemer shot 116 to tie for 36th place, Morgan McCorkell shot 120 to tie for 40th place, Aaliyah Bolstad shot 121 to tie for 42nd place, and Mya Smith scored 123 to take 45th place.
The MCW girls had 471 in 10th place as Sleepy Eye United scored 385 for the top team score.
The Mavericks and Jackson County Central visit Blue Earth Area at Minn-Iowa Golf Course on Thursday.
