The Jackson County Central track and field teams brought home four championships and a variety of all-conference honors from the Big South Small School Conference Meet in Luverne on Thursday.
Natalia Botello-Ramos set a new event and personal record in the 100 and 200 Meters. Stevie Untiedt posted a PR as champion of the 400 Meters. Botello-Ramos, Untiedt, Allison Luebben, and Zoey Hall combined for another meet record and season best on the victorious 4×200 Relay team as well.
Luebben also finished second place in the 200 Meters and Long Jump for all-conference honors. Naiya Ayers posted a personal best for an all-conference runner-up finish in the 3200 Meters. Hall was third for all-conference in the 200 with a PR. Zadi Farmer finished an all-conference third in the Triple Jump.
The JCC girls collected 109.5 points for third place as a team as Luverne led the girls with 188 points.
Ever Munoz had a personal best and tied with Grant Ambrose in second place on the Pole Vault for all-conference honors. Ambrose also finished third with a PR in the 300 Hurdles. David Botello-Ramos was all-conference as runner-up in the 3200 Meters. Kristoph Olsem ran third in the 400 Meters for all-conference.
The JCC boys earned 74 points in fifth place while St. James-Madelia collected 143 as the top boys team.
