MAVERICKS HOSTING CLIPPERS FOR SENIOR DAY DOUBLEHEADER

The Martin County West baseball team is hosting a Senior Day doubleheader against Cleveland.
The 2-8 Mavericks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and avoid a third straight loss to the Clippers.
MCW head coach Jon Traetow says they are in the midst of a challenging stretch that includes 11 games in 14 days.
The Mavericks are 2-5 in Section 2A play, 1-5 in the Tomahawk/Valley Conference, and 2-2 at home.
Cleveland is 5-5 overall after back-to-back losses. The Clippers are 2-5 in the section and 2-4 in the conference with both of those wins over winless Nicollet. Cleveland is 3-3 on the road so far as well.
The Mavericks will celebrate Class of 2026 seniors Michael McCorkell and Talon Ebeling during the doubleheader.
Coverage begins at 3:15 with the first pitch at 3:30 p.m. on Xtreme Country 105.7 and Explore Live Video.
