Tavin Miller led the Jackson County Central boys golf team and Mya Mohns led the girls in Big South Conference Gold division play on Thursday.
Miller tied for third place on the leaderboard with a score of 38 on nine holes after finishing the day with a birdie at Minn-Iowa Golf Club in Elmore hosted by Blue Earth Area.
Gavin Pohlman scored 49 in a four-way tie for 30th place. Brock Berkner shot 50 in 34th place. Kyler Thier and Linkon Phillips each shot 51 in a four-way tie for 36th place. Jessy Gentry shot 64 in 42nd place.
The JCC boys collected 188 in seventh place. Fairmont had a score of 164 to win the event.
Mohns posted a score of 53 on nine holes in a three-way tie for 21st place at Pipestone Country Club.
Alana Kalvoda and Lily Brinkman scored 54 to tie for 24th place. Taylor Schultz finished with 57 in a three-way tie for 28th place. Adriana Clark shot 70 in 35th place.
The JCC girls tallied 218 for sixth place. Blue Earth Area had the best score of 188 at the girls event.
The Huskies visit Fairmont for boys and girls invitational events on Friday with the first tee times at 1:00 p.m.
