Walhof says there is great competition when it comes to finding employees in the Iowa Great Lakes area but feels getting this type of award can give them a slight advantage…
“Where we think that this is something that can set us apart, that we can brag a little bit about, because it’s a confidential and anonymous survey that our employees take each February, and it ranks us as far as how are we doing as employer of choice? What does it mean for our employee to be part of the bank, be part of northwest Bank? Why they are employed there? What’s their role? How do we equip them and and what do we see for their future? How can they learn and grow with us? And how can we get them to a position that we can promote them to do other things?”
