The Jackson County Central girls track and field team finished fifth and boys took seventh at the Bob Nangle Relays in Pipestone on Tuesday.
Natalia Botello-Ramos took part in the 4×200 Relay team victory along with Zoey Hall, Zadi Farmer, and Allison Luebben. Botello-Ramos took third in the 100 Meters as well.
The JCC girls had a pair of runner-up event finishes, one fourth-place finish, a trio of fifth-place finishes, and one sixth place.
The JCC girls collected 57.5 team points to finish fifth place. Luverne collected 142 points as the top girls team.
Grant Ambrose finished second place in the Pole Vault, took fourth in the 4×400 Relay along with Ever Munoz, Kristoph Olsem, and Dezmynd Tupper, and was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles.
The JCC boys had a trio of third-place event finishes to go with the fourth-place finish plus a trio of fifth-place finishes and a pair of sixth-place finishes.
The JCC boys collected 46 team points for seventh place. Murray County Central scored 123.5 as the top boys team.
