MILLER LEADS HUSKIES AT ST. PETER BOYS INVITATIONAL

Tavin Miller led the Jackson County Central boys golf team at the St. Peter Boys Invitational on Tuesday.
Miller posted a score of 88 including a birdie and five pars on 18 holes at the Shoreland Country Club to tie for 24th place individually.
Gavin Pohlman scored 92 including four pars for 32nd place. Linkon Phillips shot 95 to take 36th place. Kyler Thier posted 97 to tie for 39th place. Hayden Schultz scored 109 to tie for 50th place. Blayze Hillmer shot 141 for 53rd place.
The JCC boys collected a team score of 372 for ninth place. St. Peter shot 306 to win the tournament. New Ulm shot 314, Redwood Valley shot 331, Fairmont shot 342, Waseca shot 345, St. Peter 2 shot 347, Blue Earth Area shot 368, and LeSueur-Henderson shot 370 among nine teams.
The JCC boys visit Minn-Iowa Golf Club for another Big South Conference event on Thursday.
