The Martin County West softball team dominated Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons for the second time this season on Tuesday at home.
The fourth-ranked Mavericks beat the Knights 16-0 in four innings.
MCW scored once in the first inning, four runs in the second, and piled on 11 runs in the third.
Rowan Faber went 3-for-3 including a three-run home run and a triple with five runs batted in. Ida Rohman went 3-for-3 with four RBIs. Lillie Schultz and Emily Schettler each had a pair of hits. Schultz also batted in one run. Maddie Carlson smacked a three-run double.
Carlson tossed five strikeouts and a pair of walks in three innings of work. Sydney Clow had a pair of strikeouts in one frame.
The 7-0 Mavericks continue their four-game homestand against GHEC-T-ML on Wednesday. The 1-8 Jaguars have lost six straight games. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Fox Lake Area Sports Complex in Welcome.
