Arnolds Park Amusement Park Will Feature Several New Rides & Attractions This Season

April 13, 2026

(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park Amusement Park is gearing up for another season of fun. CEO and General Manager Jon Pausley tells KUOO news they’ll be featuring several new rides, replacing some previous ones. He says one of those involves riding some bikes up into the air…

“The Dueling Vertical Bikes is an attraction that we saw down at the International Association of Amusement Park Attractions, IAAPA’s festival down in Orlando in November at the trade show and thought that would be a great fit. It’s a fun attraction. It’s something that two people can together at once race up against each other and in time. You ride a bike, you pedal, and instead of going forward, you go up. You try to get up to about 35 feet. First one up there wins and it’s kind of a fun way to be able to have something different and also something challenging. People can challenge each other, and obviously a great opportunity for some pictures and videos and laughs, for sure.”

Pausley says there will be two other new rides as well…

“So we replaced the swing ride with a glider ride this summer where people can lay down and kind of act like they’re flying through the air on this glider ride, so you’re going to see that inside the park this summer. Also the El Paso train which was right in front of our games building was down quite a bit last year, it was a ride that was hard to get parts for. Decided to also remove that ride and in place of that you’re going to see a couple different attractions in there from a larger bounce area also to a larger climb-through area and slide. So you’ll probably see some pictures coming of those soon. And speaking of right across from the games area, what we’re really excited about this summer inside the amusement park is a complete revamp of our games. We’re getting some brand new games that are being brought in this summer so people can come and have new challenges and in a fun, new way. We’re excited to unveil those here soon.”

Opening day for Arnolds Park is now just a little more than a month away…

“But prior to that for three or four days we’re going to have thousands of school kids coming into the park as they close out their school year. Something we do every year as part of our Gift A Smile program. It’s a real exciting program. So we’re excited for that. But Saturday, May 16th, opening day for the public.”

Pausley thanks everyone for their ongoing support of Arnolds Park.
