Jackson County Central seniors Roman Voss and Weston Rowe are both getting even more postseason boys basketball recognition.
Forty of the state’s outstanding boys basketball seniors will compete in the 44th annual Minnesota High School All-Star Basketball Series.
Jackson County Central seniors Roman Voss and Weston Rowe are on the Blue team roster after leading the Huskies to a program-record 27 wins and fifth place in Class AA.
Selections were made from nominations provided by each athlete’s coach, who must be a member of the MBCA, and the rosters include athletes who are available and have committed to participate in the event.
Games will be played at Anoka Ramsey Community College on Saturday, April 11th . Two games will be played at 12:20 in the Fieldhouse followed by games at 1:30 and 3:05 as determined by first game results. This year’s event will feature the Dr. Dish “Hot Hands” 3 Point Shooting Competition to be conducted at halftime of the 1:30 and 3:05 games in the Performance Gym.
The 2026 MBCA McDonald Award finalists will be presented medals and the 2026 McDonald Award recipient will be announced and presented with the McDonald Award in a 2:45 between-games ceremony.
