$16–$20/hour (based on experience and credentials)

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our doctors to deliver excellent patient care and outstanding client service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Assisting in exams, surgery, and dentistry
*Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients
*Performing lab work and radiographs
*Educating clients on medications and preventive care
*Maintaining detailed medical records
For Licensed Veterinary Technicians (credentialed):
*Induce and monitor anesthesia
*Place and maintain IV catheters
*Perform dental cleanings
*Carry out advanced technical duties as delegated
(Veterinary Assistant duties are performed under veterinarian supervision in accordance with Iowa regulations.)
Experience & Qualifications:
No prior veterinary experience required, we’re willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Experience in a medical field (human healthcare, dental, CNA, lab work, etc.) is a big plus
Licensed Veterinary Technician candidates must hold an active Iowa license
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Ability to lift 40 lbs (with assistance as needed)
