The Martin County West girls basketball dropped a road decision against Maple River on Tuesday night.
The Mavericks trailed 25-24 at halftime before dropping the 46-37 decision against the Eagles.
Maddie Carlson led MCW with 10 points. Courtney Anderson and Emily Schettler each added nine points. Ida Rohman and Ivy Olson each scored four points. Stella Rohman sank a free throw.
The 13-11 Mavericks visit Blue Earth Area on Friday.

The Saints routed the Mavericks 79-41 as Chase Owens led MCW with 12 points. Knox Larson scored six points and Carson Scheff added four points.
The 2-20 Mavericks host Cedar Mountain on Friday.
The Fairmont boys hockey team finished the regular season with a road win over Redwood Valley on Tuesday night.
Fairmont beat RV 7-3 in a clash of Cardinals.
Klay Beemer scored twice and Gavin Kester added another goal to help build a 3-1 Fairmont lead after the first period. Beemer completed a hat trick to help Fairmont lead 4-2 after the second period. Beemer, Kester, and Preston Cepress each scored in the third to help make the final score. Cepress helped with five of the Fairmont goals.
The Fairmont boys enter the postseason with a 7-13 overall record.
