KENUE COFFEE HOUR

Take a trip across the world with your cup of coffee at Kenue Coffee Hour on
Thursday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. held at Maser Monarch Lodge. This month’s speaker will be Ashley
Scheve, who will share about her first-hand experience with the Peace Corps in Paraguay.

Scheve will also share about the Peace Corps, its mission, and various projects she assisted with
while abroad. Along with stories, the audience will be able to take a closer look at some unique items
from Paraguayan culture and learn a few phrases in one of the native languages, Guarani.

“The Peace Corps plays an important role in global conservation and education,” said Amy
Heibult, community relations coordinator of the Dickinson County Conservation Board. “It’s inspiring to
hear about someone’s personal experiences from beyond our region!”

Enjoy a light coffee bar and good company while listening to an intriguing and educational
presentation. All adults are invited to attend the free event hosted by the Dickinson County Nature
