FAMILY NATURE NIGHT

January 24, 2025 – 5:00pm-6:00pm – Dickinson County Nature Center

How do lightning bugs glow? Learn all about it at Family Nature Night: Lights of the Night, held at the Dickinson County Nature Center on Friday, January 24th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Families will learn about the differences between bioluminescence and biofluorescence through several activities. The hour will begin with group activities and later split into other sessions to make a lightning bug craft, play Blacklight Bingo, dig for some treasures in glowing rocks, and more!
This is a free family program offered every fourth Friday of the month to give families the opportunity to spend time together and learn about conservation and local ecology.
