FAMILY NATURE NIGHT

Where do all the animals go for winter? Families are invited to Family Nature Night on Friday, November 22nd, at 5:00 p.m. at the Dickinson County Nature Center. Families will learn about what animals hibernate and where they go while doing so.

Have an hour of fun together while scavenger hunting for hibernating animals around the Nature Center. Can you find where they are all hidden? Enjoy the treat of building an edible hibernation
den while brainstorming where you would instead hibernate while it’s cold. To top off the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to meet an animal ambassador of the Nature Center.

“We hope that families have fun together and understand more about our local wildlife, including the aggravating struggles they go through to survive our long, cold winters,” says Amy Heibult, community relations coordinator.
