Spiders do not have to be spooky! Youth ages 2-5 and a chaperone can join the Dickinson County Nature Center staff for Nature Tots: Itsy Bitsy Spider. On October 9th at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Nature Tots will meet at the Nature Center to dive into the famous nursery rhyme.
“Our young explorers will be practicing counting to eight and learning how to color coordinate spider legs to the correct color of its body with a fun craft,” said Amy Heibult, community relations coordinator of the nature center.
“They will also learn how spiders move around, and attendees can try crawling over various textured surfaces to see what it might be like to be a spider.”
