Dickinson County Nature Center – NATURE TOTS

Whooooo’s ready for Nature Tots? The Dickinson County Nature Center invites youth 2-5 years old and a chaperone to Nature Tots: Wise Old Owl. There are two identical sessions that take place on August 14^th. Our 1:30 p.m. session still has some availability, and youth can be preregistered online.

Attendees will enjoy storytime reading So You Want To Be an Owl, then enjoy making an owl suncatcher, and finally getting to play a game to learn about some of our owl mounts.

Naturalist Britney Snell is excited to teach our young explorers to learn about these amazing nocturnal birds.

“I look forward to showing the toddlers how special these nocturnal birds are to our area! Each owl species is as unique as the kids who will be joining us.”

Nature Tots is a wonderful opportunity to begin foundational science and environmental lessons while utilizing age-appropriate sensory skills.
