Legendary drummer John JR Robinson will be visiting friends…

Longest Day of the year celebrating from sunrise to
sunset. Why not spend the time in nature? We will have Nature
filled activities for the whole family to participate in! The events will
be all over Clay County!
Children must be accompanied
by an adult.
6:30-8am– Sunrise hike meet up- Oneota Park
9-10am – Nature Reads – Oneota Park
11:30am- 12pm – Celebrate the 1874 Clay County grasshopper
raid by eating insects at Schmerse Wildlife Area. We have the insects,
bring your appetites. Have a picnic on the prairie, bring a lunch stay for
the fun!
12-2:30 pm- Schmerse Wildlife Area – Canoeing, Fishing, Pond
dipping, Bubble explosion, Scavenger hunt, Archery, Ax throwing
4-5pm -Box Turtle Yoga– Scharnberg Park open air shelter on the
west side by the beach.
5:15-6pm – Live Raptors – Scharnberg Park Scharnberg Park open
air shelter on the west side by the beach.
8-8:30pm – Firefly Fun with story – Oneota Park
8:30-10pm – Firefly Hunt and Hike – Oneota Park
