March Homeschool ED-Ventures

We have had some wild weather this winter, and we want to invite our homeschool families to Homeschool Ed-ventures: Wild Weather. The Dickinson County Nature Center offers this free program for youth ages 5-12 to learn more in-depth science lessons and explore wildlife.

Rain or shine Homeschool Ed-ventures will take place on Thursday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m. Learn from several science experiments about how weather forms, discuss severe weather, and learn what to do when severe weather strikes! Registration is open until Tuesday, March 19, at 5:00 p.m., so don’t wait to sign up. 

Environmental Education Coordinator Danika Cox is looking forward to the science experiments and commented, “My hope is that kids will have a better understanding of what causes weather to happen and also what to do in the event of severe weather.”
