LEAP DAY ADVENTURE EVENT

Thursday, Febraru 29, 2024 – 5:00PM – Maser Monarch Lodge

Hop to it at our Leap Day Adventure event! The Dickinson County Nature Center is hosting this event on Thursday, February 29th, at 5:00 p.m. We invite families of all ages to pre-register and join us at the Maser Monarch Lodge. All the fun will be centered around frogs and the number four, in honor of Leap Day occurring once every four years.

Attendees will get to play a variety of games, including our homemade giant Connect Four board, and learn about frog sounds, diets and life cycles. In addition, participants will get to meet one of the Nature Center’s very own leaping animal ambassadors! Naturalist Britney Snell is eagerly looking forward to this event exclaiming, “We want to celebrate this extra day in an extra special way with a Frogs and Fours celebration!” She added that guests are encouraged to wear the color green in honor of the day.
