FAMILY NATURE NIGHT – UNDER THE STARS

Friday, February 23, 2024 – 5:00PM-6:00PM – Dickinson County Nature Center

The day length is still short, which means stars are out for a longer period of time. The Dickinson County Nature Center invites families to join us on an evening hike to see some constellations! February’s Family Nature Night: Under the Stars will occur on Friday, February 23, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
at the Nature Center. Families will enjoy a hike under the stars, a make-and-take activity indoors, and more.

Environmental Education Coordinator Danika Cox commented, “Taking a walk and looking up at the stars is always exciting. In the hustle and bustle of today’s world, sometimes we forget to pause and admire how beautiful the night sky can be.” Cox added that she looks forward to families learning about constellations and our solar system.
