Boji Mammoth High School Hockey Team 5th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Friday, August 11, 2023 – 3PM Shotgun Start – Brooks Golf Course, Okoboji, IA

Spirit Lake, IA – The Boji Mammoth High School Hockey team is excited to announce their 5th annual Boji Mammoth Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The event will take place on Friday, August 11th at Brooks Golf in Okoboji, Iowa.

This 4-person, 9-hole golf tournament will have a shotgun start at 3 P.M. with a buffet following for all registered golfers. Participants can look forward to fun games on the course to make the event even more exciting.

For those unable to attend, the Mammoth team welcomes sponsorships. Hole sponsors will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses at the hole, while Birdie sponsors will receive two entries with dinner and recognition on the sponsor banner. Eagle sponsors will receive four
entries with dinner and recognition on the sponsor banner. Further details about sponsorship options can be obtained by contacting Angie.

The funds raised from this golf outing are crucial for the Boji Mammoths, as it is their only fundraising event of the season. All proceeds will go towards supporting the team’s hockey operations, uniforms, and player warm-up gear.

According to junior player Ethan Jerge, “This fundraiser allows the team to focus on the ice during the season while still improving our facilities and program for future players.” The Mammoths extend their gratitude to the Lakes Area businesses for their ongoing support, as it has played a significant role in their success. Senior player Brodie Madagan added, “…the
team can truly focus on our task at hand, team building, skills development, and representing our community in a positive way.”

The Mammoths, who draw players from Spirit Lake and surrounding communities, had a successful season in the Iowa High School Hockey Alliance, concluding as the two-time State Champions. They are looking forward to an even better 23-24 season and are excited to have a
packed home rink
