Pollinator Palooza at the Maser Monarch Lodge

Join the Dickinson County Conservation Board, Trees Forever, and the Tallgrass Prairie Center for a prairie and pollinator field day starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Maser Monarch Lodge on Tuesday, July 11^th.  We will be learning about pollinators and touring a prairie planting to play Prairie BINGO.  Just what is Prairie Bingo you might be asking?  It’s traditional bingo with a twist, make a bingo by finding and identifying native prairie plants; field day details below:

Dickinson County Conservation Executive Director Lee Sorenson will welcome us to the Maser Monarch Lodge, one of the newest additions on the grounds of the Nature Center located at 22785 Nature Center Road.  We will learn about pollinators and plants that pollinators love, tips and tricks for homeowners to attract more pollinators like butterflies, moths, bees, and more, and visit some prairie plantings to see what’s blooming.  This will be a great opportunity to practice our plant ID skills and play prairie bingo!
