Okoboji Summer Theatre – Pump Boys and Dinettes (musical)

Enjoy an evening of foot-stompin’, hand-clappin’ country-western songs filled with heartbreak and hilarity, performing on guitars, piano, bass, and, yes, kitchen utensils. The ‘Pump Boys’ sell high octane on Highway 57 in Grand Ole Opry country, and the ‘Dinettes,’ Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, run the Double Cupp diner next door.

The Okoboji Summer Theatre is a working professional summer stock theatre company. Theatre students from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri, are joined with professional artists, actors, and directors from around the country to present seven mainstage productions and two Boji Bantam Children’s Theatre productions. This is their 64th summer at Okoboji.
