The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association has announced the 2024 Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame Inductees.
Board President Ralph Kluseman says the Association receives hundreds of nominations each year. “It’s been going on since 1997, obviously, and every year we attempt to honor all of those who have really made such a big impact on our lives with bringing us the joy of music. So, that process has over the years gotten easier with the advent of computers. We now send people to our website and if they click on nominate, it explains all the details and explains that, bands themselves, the individuals themselves can’t nominate themselves. They need to have their fans do that for them. It literally runs into the hundreds of new nominations every year. So, our Regional Consultants volunteer their time to read through all these nominations. At the end of that process, the Board gets together and they get to see the top of the top of what has been funneled through to us to look at, and this year our Induction Class is just amazing, and we’re real excited about honoring all these folks that are the brand new Class of 2024.”
The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame Induction Spectacular will be held August 30 through September 1 in the Iowa Great Lakes.
