(Fostoria)– Fire has pretty much destroyed a machine shed about half-way between Spencer and Fostoria. The Fostoria and Spencer Fire Departments were called around 9:30 this (Sunday) morning to 2935 Highway 71 and found smoke coming from the structure, which quickly became fully involved in fire.
No injuries were reported.
There was no immediate word as to the amount of equipment in the building or a dollar amount of loss. Also no word yet on a possible cause.
We’ll have additional details as they become available.
Firefighters were on the scene nearly three hours in sub-zero temperatures.
***UPDATE*** Officials now say it’s believe the cause of the fire was electrical in nature.
