(Des Moines)– A local man with a distinguished background in banking and finances has been selected to fill a vacancy on the Revenue Estimating Conference. The Iowa Department of Management announced today (Friday) Jeff Plagge of Arnolds Park will fill the seat as a public member. That seat was previously held by David Underwood who had served on the Revenue Estimating Conference since 1997.
Plagge served as Iowa Superintendent of Banking from 2019-2023. Prior to that Plagge was President and CEO of Northwest Financial Corporation of Arnolds Park. Plagge has served the banking industry in other capacities including Chairman of the American Banker’s Association and Chairman of the Iowa Bankers’ Association.
