(Okabena)- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has an ongoing investigation into an incident that happened on Saturday, later at night at around 10:30 pm. A deputy responded to an incident of damage to property. A vehicle had apparently been driving carelessly in Okabena, causing tires to throw gravel and cause damage.
As a result, gravel hit a building, breaking a window. The pickup was described to law enforcement as an older pewter colored Chevy extended cab, short box truck.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone who has seen a vehicle matching that description should the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 507-847-4420.
