(Spencer)– One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday when a vehicle collided with a semi in Clay county.
Authorities say Robert Raymer of Spencer was driving a 2019 Subaru southbound on County Road M-27 south of Everly. Deputies say Raymer’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2018 Freightliner semi driven by Dustin Vander Bush of Spencer.
Raymer was taken by ambulance to Spencer hospital.
The Subaru he was driving was a total loss. Damage to the semi was limited to the trailer. No injuries were reported to Van Der Bush.
The collision took place a little after 1:30 pm. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Everly and Royal Fire Departments.
