(Fairmont, Mn.)– A two vehicle collision Thursday evening in Fairmont sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Ashley Metteer of Welcome was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse westbound on Johnson Street and 47-year-old Christine Laue of Fenton, Iowa, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 15 when the two collided in the intersection.
Laue was taken to Mayo Clinic, Fairmont, for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Fairmont police and the Fairmont Fire Department assisted on the scene. The collision took place a little before 7:00 p.m.
