(Arnolds Park)– If you’re wondering what to do with that natural Christmas tree and greenery once you take it down in the coming days, the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has an idea. You can drop them off in trailers located in the parking lot at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park and the parking lot at Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake. All lights and decorations must be removed first.
The trees and greenery will be used as part of the “Burning of The Greens” for the 44th Annual University of Okoboji Winter Games Saturday, January 27th at 6:30 pm at Preservation Plaza in Arnolds Park.
The U of O Winter Games kick off January 25th and will run through January 28th. Find more information at uofowintergames.com.
